La Prediccion

The short film “La Prediccion” (The Prediction) is the first Co-Production between Gold Productions Studios SL and the private film club “Cinematógrafo en el Exilio”, based in La Linea de La Concepcion (Cadiz). Gold Productions Studios SL facilitated cameras and other essential hardware and material for this short film to be shot by the students of the film club, with the aim that the students could put into practise everything they have learned during their film studies.

Based on a short story called “Vaticinios” by La Linea´s multi prize winner Mr. Jose Villalba, “La Prediccion” tells the story of Juan, a man who has the ability of predicting the future: a death in his neighbour’s family, a heat-wave that smothers his home town and even painful personal problems but what might happen if he fails to predict in time?
